Employment Program: "Our Youth Will Work" This is Not My Words This What in President Mubarak Program

The second program is a clear, straightforward commitment to create 4.5 million new sustainable jobs over the next 6 years. The program will enhance the investment climate to generate 4.5 million new jobs within 6 years. A comprehensive package of programs, titled "Our Youth Will Work" program outlines President Mubarak’s vision for ensuring Egypt's youth job opportunities and a chance to develop their careers.
The Program will create the 4.5 million jobs for youth in the next six years, primarily in the sectors of industry, agriculture and tourism.
The program is an integral component of the electoral platform, and calls for the establishment of five specific programs, namely the introduction of 'micro-lending' for small businesses; the enhancement of the labor market; expanding the industrial base; the reclamation and cultivation of desert land; and the development of the tourism industry in Egypt. The candidate has underlined his commitment to finding specific tools to promote investment and employment in Egypt, with an emphasis on improving productive capacities.
The micro-lending program will provide three billion pounds to finance small businesses over the next six years, creating 100,000 new job opportunities in the market annually. The program entails establishing specialized branches in national banks for micro-lending and will be accompanied by increased access to technical support and training, providing youth with the skills and opportunities to market their products.
The program also aims to allocate LE 60 billion (including LE five billion per annum from the banking sector) to small and medium enterprises, thus creating 900,000 new jobs over the next six years. Financial support will be offered for 2,000 medium projects for craftsmen and professionals, providing an additional 150,000 places available in the job market each year.
With regards to industrial policy, the program is committed to facilitating the establishment of one thousand modern factories, each to be financed in the range of LE 100 billion in the coming six years, providing an added 1.5 million people with jobs. The banking sector is expected to finance LE 8.5 billion annually in support of this program.
In order to assist the agricultural sector - one of Egypt's largest sectors – the program will embark on an ambitious land reclamation project, building 400 new villages in the desert and creating 420,000 job opportunities over six years. The program will also establish new industrial policies guaranteeing the availability of competitively priced fertilizers for farmer, and proposes a plan for crop specialization in different villages, ensuring a diversity of products and higher efficiency in the sector.
The program lastly details a plan to promote the tourism industry in Egypt, with the aim of increasing the number of tourists to reach 14 million a year by 2011. Planned investment – both foreign and local – of LE 48 billion will go primarily towards building 750 hotels and increasing the number of hotel rooms to 240,000 in six years.

Egypt is the Winner Mubarak meets with workers from Al Mahla Al Kobra

Meeting today with workers from Al Mahla Al Kobra, one of Egypt's oldest and most established industrial hubs, President Hosni Mubarak spoke of policies he plans to implement to promote industry, particularly in the textiles sector.
Mubarak reminded his audience of his confidence that "The Presidential elections will be free, fair and transparent, confirming that we are on our way towards an irrevocable process of political reform."
In the last three years, Al Mahla Al Kobra has been at the center of Egypt's export growth, placing the city at the forefront of industrial modernization.
As part of his program, Mubarak emphasized that he will work towards evolving Egyptian-American relations to focus more on trade and economic cooperation, opening up new markets to Egyptian exports and attracting greater US investments to Egypt.
Within this framework, Mubarak said he would work to finalize a Free Trade Agreement with the United States, as well as including Al Mahla Al Kobra in the Qualified Zones Agreement (QIZ).
Egypt possesses a high comparative advantage for a variety of textiles & clothing products, which it has developed into a competitive gain in major foreign markets. Mubarak asserted that "Egyptian industry will require more technological know-how and training to develop and grow."
The program therefore allocates LE1 billion to make financing more readily available for small and medium factories, offer quality assistance to meet international standards, and provide education on marketing to global economies. It will work towards increasing investments in the sector, creating more job opportunities, and greater growth in exports.
AND FINALLY IT IS JUST WORD FROM ME THAT WHAT HAPPENING NOW IN EGYPT NOT FOR OUR PRESENT BUT FOR OUR FUTURE.
